Zebra Printing Problems

FieldSoftware Product's Zebra printing support requires the Zebra printer with CPCL printer language and in LINE_PRINT mode

Zebra offers three different "printer languages" for it's mobile printers - CPCL, ZPL and EPL. Our Zebra support is limited to only CPCL-equipped Zebra printers in LINE_PRINT mode.

Some Zebra printers can have one or more of the Zebra printer languages installed. If you have a Zebra CPCL-supported printer that is not printing correctly with our software (for example, the print job is sent to the printer but only a thick black line is printed), visit this link to verify that LINE_PRINT mode is set:

If the above does not work, try the following steps:

1. Download and install to your desktop PC Zebra's free Label Vista program here:

http://www.zebra.com/id/zebra/na/en/index/products/software/label_design_software/label_vista.htm

2. Run Label Vista on your desktop PC with the Zebra printer connected.

3. Click on Printer menu -> Printer Settings -> General tab -> "Set Printer Language" = LINE_PRINT.

4. Now try printing with our Zebra support again.

Note: Contact Zebra support if you need assistance for any of these steps.
