Notes:
#1: PrinterCE SDK installation (see steps below) installs & registers PrEngineCE.dll to your device.
#2: If the CE.Net version does not work on your CE.Net device, try the H/PC Pro & 2000 version instead.
#3: WinXP/Win2000 version for testing purposes only - not supported for release. Not all port connections are available for print testing - primarily useful for debugging user interface. Will NOT work for WinCE X86 devices.
#4. WinCE 6.x devices may not print LANDSCAPE (sideways) text correctly.

Installing PrinterCE SDK: There are several methods for downloading and installing PrinterCE SDK to your device. Use the INSTALLER to quickly and automatically install from your desktop PC using the ActiveSync connection. Use CAB files to install on your device. Use DLL files to enable your app's installer to also install PrinterCE SDK for your users.
  1. INSTALLER: Each installer will automatically install and register the correct processor version of PrEngineCE.dll for your device. From the table, select and download the appropriate "Installer" version for your WinCE device. The Installer contains the PrinterCE modules for all of the processors of the selected Pocket PC or Windows CE platform. Run the Installer from your desktop to install and register the control on your device. (For more installation options, see below).
  2. CAB: Each CAB file will install and register PrEngineCE.dll for the device. Download the CAB file directly to the device or download to desktop PC and copy to device. Using the device's File Explorer, find the CAB file and tap to install.
  3. DLL: To add PrinterCE to your app's installation process, use the provided DLLs. Use the INF file's "CESelfRegister" command to cause the installer to tell PrEngineCE.dll to register itself. For more information, email to techsupport@fieldsoftware.com and tell us whether you are using eVB or eVC.

PrinterCE SDK Demo - Once PrinterCE is installed on your device, you can download the PrCEDemo demo program (see table below), run it from your desktop to install to your device, tap Start->Programs and select PrCEDemo.
